Sofie Hagen is a multi-award-winning stand-up comedian and author behind the popular books ‘Happy Fat’ (2019) and ‘Will I Ever Have Sex Again?’ (2024). In 2015 she won Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with her show ‘Bubblewrap’ and has since then appeared on Netflix, BBC, Channel 4 and Comedy Central and at comedy festivals all over the world, including Melbourne Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal, Johannesburg Comedy Festival, Berlin Comedy Festival and many more. Sofie is a successful podcaster, starting with her own Comedians Telling Stuff (2014) and later co-hosting Secret Dinosaur Cult with Jodie Mitchell, BBC Sound’s true crime podcast Bad People (2020) with Dr. Julia Shaw and finally Help Hole (2024) with Abby Wambaugh.
